• Bostal has experience in the development of modified-release and enteric-coated drug products, including multiple projects involving gastro-retentive formulations, osmotic pump formulations, and pellet compression formulations.

• Modified-release dosage forms are designed based on the absorption characteristics of the drug. When necessary, other approaches, such as solubilization, and immediate-release technologies, are combined to achieve specific in vivo release characteristics.

• Bostal has successfully obtained regulatory approval for and commercialized the first gastro-retentive drug product in China.
